From fixed costs to variable costs! A case where a new delivery route was established through the construction of a delivery network.
We would like to introduce a case study of our proposed approach to problem-solving. Company A faced the challenge of increased delivery costs due to a sudden change in management conditions caused by a decrease in sales from the Lehman Shock, and there were limits to cost reduction with existing transportation companies. Therefore, we proposed initiatives such as developing new delivery routes, innovating delivery packaging, and downsizing vehicles. As a result, we achieved our goals while maintaining the previous level of service.
